Treasure Watcher Slapped Me In the Face

True Horror Stories – The story I’m going to tell happened in 2008. I started to work with two other people besides me to dig an illegal tumulus (king tomb) in a Central Anatolian city to search for treasure [1]Illegal historical artifacts and treasure hunting are very common in Turkey since the country is home to many ancient civilizations that lived in the area for thousands of years.

Our goal was to dig for 9 meters to reach the tunnel and burial chamber. On the first day, we dug for 3 meters. We used to dig at night and stop working in the early hours of the morning.

On the next evening of digging, when I went to the digging area, we saw that someone covered the pit. It didn’t make sense for us, but we had to start digging again. This time, we managed to dig 4 meters deep.

However, when we went to the area the next evening, the pit was covered again, and we had to dig again.

When I went home after the digging, I slept on my left side [2]According to Islamic belief, sleeping on the left side is not welcomed in my single bed. In my dream, I was digging in the area. With the final ax blow, a hole that leads to a tunnel appeared.

When I enlarged the hole and entered the tunnel, there was someone who was long, holding a sword in his hand and whose skin was stuck to his bones, next to a pile of gold coins.

After looking at each other for a while, I asked “Who are you?” He replied, “I’m the watcher of here. Or the people who buried the treasure try to protect the treasure with spells or talismans to keep … Continue reading I said, “I’m the new owner here.”

He got up and said, “Stay away from here. Otherwise, you are going to die” and he slapped me in the face hard.

I woke up with this slap. After the shock of the dream, when I went to the bathroom to check myself in the mirror, purple finger marks were on my face.

I couldn’t get out of the home for a week because of this terrible dream. My friends on our team called me wondering why I never showed up.

I told them about the terrible dream I had, and I will never go there again, and I also advised them not to go there too…
